Solo players can heave a sigh of relief.
Black Ops 6 will allow players to save and quit matches whenever they wish, a first for the Call of Duty franchise. The feature allows players to pick up the game from where they saved and can be extremely useful when they have urgent tasks to attend to while gaming. This feature will also be particularly useful for players who disconnect due to internet connectivity issues.

Save and Quit Feature in Call of Duty Black Ops 6
Call of Duty players would reminisce about the fact that the game did not automatically save progress in the Zombies mode. If you have to be Away from Keyboard for a while during a Zombies match, it pretty much means the end of the game. You have to start over again, wasting precious time and effort. Black Ops 6 has brought forth a solution. The game will automatically save your progress if you are AFK for a prolonged time.
Players can also manually save their progress in the game. However, there are some conditions for manual saving. Players should not be knocked down and should be at full health. They also should not be engaged in active engagement during which manual save will be disabled. This allows players to continue where they left off, as there might be pressing situations in life that require their attention over the game.
This new feature allows players some leeway in their gameplay. If a player disconnects from a match due to internet connection problems, he can join right in cause the game will automatically save whenever he is AFK. This recovery feature is extremely useful in case of unwanted disconnection and computer problems.
For the first time ever in Zombies, you can Save & Quit in a Solo match. Even if you disconnect, simply pick up where you left off.
This feature is only available for solo matches as the quick reconnection will not impact the overall game. It’s not the same for squad matches. In squad matches, however, players can reconnect to their matches. After the initial reconnect, they might have to wait sometime as they observe their teammates. But they should be able to join the game soon after.
