Are you ready to get higher than ever before in Black Ops 7?
According to two separate Call of Duty insiders, Black Ops 7 is reportedly bringing back the beloved game mode, Get High. Get High was a game mode that we last saw in MWIII, which is where it was originally introduced. It's unlike any other Call of Duty game mode that's ever been released, as it focuses purely on player movement instead of combat.
For an unknown reason, we didn't see the return of Get High in Black Ops 6, but you can still play the mode today in MWIII. Fortunately, it appears as though Activision and Treyarch have realized how much the player base enjoys Get High, and leakers are currently reporting that the mode is planned to return during the post-launch cycle of Black Ops 7.
Get High is apparently returning in Black Ops 7
This leak comes from both @TheGhostOfHope and @Crazhfty on X/Twitter. Both accounts have been known to be extremely reliable when it comes to Call of Duty leaks, and they clearly have some sort of inside source due to how much information they reveal. While some of this information doesn't always pan out, a majority of their leaks do end up being true.
In the lead-up to COD Next and the multiplayer beta, both sources tweeted out that Get High is currently planned to arrive on April 20, 2026 in Black Ops 7.
You can likely piece together why Get High would be released on that specific day of the year. We don't know exactly how the mode is going to look compared to the version in MWIII, but crazhfty is reporting that Get High will still include "rewards for completing objectives." As most MWIII players know, Get High in that game offered three exclusive and animated camos for completing three separate objectives while playing the mode.
If you didn't play MWIII, Get High is a game mode that takes place on a neon course full of movement obstacles. You're racing against a lobby full of other players, and there's a timer that you need to beat if you want to fully finish the course. You have to utilize the perfect routes and movement mechanics on the course if you want to outpace the other players.
In Black Ops 7, there's no telling how the Get High map will look now that wall-jumping is a core movement feature. Hopefully, we hear more about the reported return of Get High in the coming months following the release of Black Ops 7.
