Black Myth Wukong is one of the most anticipated games of the year. As the game heads towards its release date, more and more fans are becoming interested in the Chinese Mythology action RPG. The game has secured the top spot in the Steam Wishlist at the time of writing.

Dune: Awakening comes in just outside the top ten games on the Steam Wishlist title. Black Myth Wukong ranks higher than several other popular titles including Monster Hunter Wilds as well as Warhammer 40,000. Coming in at the third place is Frostpunk 2, a post-apocalyptic world that is freezing over. The survival game is set 30 years after a brutal blizzard ravaged Earth. 

Black Myth Wukong will bring together fans from all over the world. The game releases on August 20 and is one of the most anticipated titles of the year. Black Myth Wukong has stiff competition in the wishlist fight. 

For many fans, they are expecting a competitor to Elden Ring, one of the best-selling games of all times. Black Myth Wukong is based on a cornerstone of Chinese Literature published in the 16th century called “Journey to the West.” This classic novel follows the quest of the monk Xuanzang, who travels to Central Asia and India to gather sacred texts. Alongside him are his three disciples—Sun Wukong (the Monkey King), Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing—plus a dragon prince turned white horse, each seeking redemption for past misdeeds.
