New Jersey gaming revenue climb in August 2025
According to the report, internet gaming revenue reached $248.4 million in August 2025, up 25.2% from last year. Year-to-date earnings also climbed to $1.88 billion, a 23.5% increase over 2024. Meanwhile, casino hotels reported $311.9 million in revenue for August 2025, up 6.1% from last year with year-to-date earnings reaching $1.98 billion, a 2.8% increase over 2024.
In terms of sports wagering, casinos, racetracks, and their partners reported $81.9 million in gross revenue for August 2025, up 30.6% from last year. As for the year-to-date revenue, it reached $708.7 million, slightly down 1.0% compared to the previous year.
The total gaming revenue for casinos, racetracks, and their partners reached $642.2 million in August 2025, up 15.7% from 2024. Year-to-date revenue also climbed to $4.57 billion, a 9.7% increase over 2024. Total gross revenue taxes amounted to $86.1 million for August and $532.2 million year-to-date.
