Battlefield 6 has been at the forefront of gaming news for a few weeks now, but a map leak for a Battle Royale mode is hyping up the players. While the single-player reveal was a bit anti-climactic, Electronic Arts and Dice followed up with a massive multiplayer reveal. Showcasing the ins and outs of BF6, the player base was taken aback by how the game looked. With a return to destruction, the class system, and some amazing visuals, BF6 quickly became the talk of the world.
However, near the end of the presentation, the developers revealed a teaser, which many understood was a Battle Royale map for Battlefield 6.

Towards the end of the BF6 multiplayer showcase, the developers revealed a look at what everyone realised was the new Battle Royale mode, which already has a few leaks surrounding it. While this would not be the franchise’s first foray into the genre, Firestorm, which came out with BF5 (or BFV), was not well-received at all. And with the uprising of Call of Duty’s Warzone, it fell to the ground. But the new reveal of the Battle Royale Map for Battlefield 6 has reignited hope.
Since then, there have been various discussions online about the new mode and map. However, on August 4, a new leak of the Battle Royale map was seen.
The leak showed off a map that is reportedly based on a region in Los Angeles, California. As the camera pans over the area, players can see destruction strewn across the landscape. This has led many to believe that the all-out destruction of the main game is coming to the new BR. From the reception, it seems that most Battlefield 6 faithful are buzzing about the Battle Royale map.
While we are still unsure how the BR release will fit into the October 10 release date for BF6, we are likely to get more news on this in the coming months.
