Reina & Heihachi’s wig join Atelier Yumia in FREE Tekken 8 crossover DLC

Atelier Yumia’s free Tekken 8 DLC brings Reina’s costume, Heihachi-themed quests, and new special moves in a huge crossover update.

The Tekken 8 crossover DLC for Atelier Yumia is a MASSIVE win for both parties, and sees Yumia not only receive a Reina costume but also unique combat attacks. Plus she gets to fight a Heihachi-theme Pumi. Did we mention it's all completely free?

While the Atelier Yumia DLC in Tekken 8 was an accessory slot item and a very underwhelming t-shirt, the Tekken 8 DLC in Atelier Yumia which arrives on July 23 is infinitely better. The double crossover collab was originally announced all the way back in March 2025.

New Moves & Rage Art Tribute

As part of the Tekken Series collaboration Pack, Yumia also gains access to new Special Moves which are Reina-inspired. The trailer highlight is obviously seeing Yumia perform Reina's Rage Art, her ultimate move which Tekken characters gain access to at low health.

Reina's Rage Art in Tekken involves her stamping on top of her fallen enemies before telling them to "Know Your Place", then channels her full power to pummel them into the ground.

Instead of Reina’s typical finale to her finisher, Yumia fires a laser from her forehead - a nod to Devil Jin, not Reina, but still a killer tribute.

Who is Reina in Tekken?

For those unfamiliar with Tekken 8. Reina was one of three brand new characters released with Bandai Namco's Tekken 8. Through the story players discover that she is the secret biological daughter of Heihachi, who is the face of the Tekken franchise and the oldest member of the Mishima family which the Tekken series is centred around.

Reina's explosive and aggressive playstyle combined with her striking design made her an instant hit with Tekken fans.

Reina remains in the top 10 most played characters even 18 months after the game's release, making her the perfect candidate for Atelier Yumia Tekken DLC, especially given her similarity in appearance to Yumia.

This is crossover DLC done right - even if we had to wait four months to see the results.
