The Regular season comprises three weeks of matches. The best players from these three weeks qualify for the playoffs via the Playoffs Draft.

  • The Top 60 in overall Leadership will qualify.
  • Top 20 will be captains for the Player Draft.

The players will queue themselves into matches hosted in custom lobbies and will compete against other participants. Players earn points based on their placement and eliminations in each match.

How are the players matched? Is there an ELO System?

“For the inaugural Beta Season, the Gauntlet League will be using a completely randomized matchmaking system to determine the teams & lobbies for each match. There will be no ELO Rating system being actively used for matchmaking”

The inaugural beta season will not have an ELO system. However, the announcement also reveals that they are working on an ELO system behind the scenes. If there is an overwhelming demand for such a system, the organizers might implement it in the beta month.
