Nice Guys are back in Pro League, but who is joining them?
Nice Guys secured a return to the ALGS Pro League, as the Americas region's Pro League Qualifier came to a dramatic conclusion. The team, now approaching the ALGS without RKN were in fine form and racked up the most points on the day comfortably. Codddy in particular was on fire, registering 25 kills across the eight games.
The Americas Pro League will have a range of new faces next split, with several big names failing to qualify. Also missing out were Twerkaholics, who were a sensation at the ALGS Open. Previous Pro League teams Unleash, Bored and Corinthians also failed to return to the Pro League for Split 2.
In the ALGS Pro League Qualifier Nice Guys finish... first
Nice Guys were always going to be in the Pro League conversation, with both Sang and Codddy bringing a relative wealth of experience to the competition. Codddy has multiple LAN appearances and is a vastly experienced competitor.

That experience shone through in his performance. 25 kills in eight games is really impressive, and Codddy really spearheaded Nice Guys performance across the entire Pro League Qualifier. New addition QQbiddy also showed some brilliance and seems to be a great signing for this team.

5Star would be first to be called up should any teams disband, followed by Rock Hard Rhinos and then potentially Unleash should rostermania get really crazy.
Twerkaholics fall short
There was a lot of attention on Twerkaholics after their ALGS Open performance, that shocked the Apex world. They proved that they can perform at a level way higher than Challenger Circuit, but were unable to find their best today. Kills flowed, but placement was a struggle at times. Twerkaholics finished in 15th and will be back in the Challenger Circuit next split.
Joining them is a handful of Split 1 Pro League teams, including Unleash and Corinthians. Unleash will feel especially frustrated, having landed the best spot in zone for the final game. More coordination in the final moments would have snatched the points required to return to Pro League.
