GoNext are your ALGS Champions.
GoNext are the ALGS Year 4 Champions. The side becomes the first ever ALGS LAN winner from EMEA. This crowns off a hugely successful year of Apex Legends competition, with a massive $600,000 heading to the winners.
GoNext were closely followed by star-studded teams like Alliance, Team Falcons and Shopify Rebellion. All three teams raced past the Match Point threshold, but as is so often the case, failed to get the all important final win that gets their hands on the title.

GoNext were not among the favourites for the ALGS Championship, and across the finals they went largely under the radar until the crucial moment. They needed just a single game after reaching the Match Point threshold, closing out an absolutely chaotic endzone in Overlook.
The key for GoNext was Catalyst. Her Dark Veil provided crucial cover worth $600,000, forcing VP and Luminosity to fight eachother first. They also had the advantage of a slight high ground, meaning the odds felt in their favour.
For LG and Sweetdreams, it was an agonisingly close end circle. Having been written off by almost the entire ALGS community, to come a single final circle away from LAN will be seen as a good result, but still a very painful one.
Virtus.pro also impressed, while they failed to extend the tournament their Overlook exploits raised them all the way to 5th. That gives them crucial prize money and is a strong end to the season.
For GoNext, they have now joined a small club of ALGS LAN winners. The underdogs have shocked not just Sapporo, but the entire ALGS community.
