Another day, another Alliance win.
Alliance sleepwalked to an easy ALGS Pro League victory, earning a huge 55 points in just two games to move into an unassailable lead. This win moved Alliance into a fantastic position to win the EMEA ALGS Pro League title, with things firmly in their hands as the Pro League comes towards a conclusion.
This is the second Pro League week in a row where Alliance have cruised to first place. The team feels well and truly a cut above the rest of the region, seeming well and truly unstoppable.
Same ALGS story, different day for Alliance
Todays Pro League performance from Alliance is essentially a rinse and repeat from last week, where they also cruised to an easy victory. This means that since arriving back from the ALGS Open in New Orleans, Alliance have won every Pro League set they have played in.
Heading into the final game, Alliance had a huge 33 point lead, miles ahead of closest rivals SJP2. Maybe complacency played a part in their final game. Alliance finished in 14th with no kills to round out the day.

After their ALGS Open, then ALGS Pro League performance last week it was evident that Alliance are in a different class to the rest of the EMEA Region. However, to repeat their victory and once again do it in a dominant manner further adds to their credentials as one of the best teams worldwide.

Alliance are simply too good
The balance on the team is unlike anything seen in the region before. Hakis has experience, but is also a master at adapting and innovating. Unlucky and Effect are both fearsome fighters but also compliment each other perfectly. Communication is clear, and the team atmosphere is positive even when things aren't going quite to plan.

As pointed out last week, Alliance's Year 4 LAN performance was just shy of something remarkable and had a few tiny things gone their way they would be seen in the same bracket as TSM and DarkZero.
The question for them is can they make the extra step as a team to win LANs consistently. Alliance are technically defending champions of the ALGS Midseason playoffs and they will already have an eye on that tournament.
Some have even suggested that in order to truly take the next step as a team, relocating from EMEA might have to be on the cards for Hakis, Effect and Unlucky.
Todays final standings

Elsewhere, Forbidden, who have just signed to Mouz, also put in a big performance. FaZe Clan continued to struggle, despite reuniting with Naghz after last weeks matches.
