The Apex Legends unable to connect to EA servers error is incredibly frustrating. Apex Legends is totally online, so you cannot even play in the Firing Range if you can't connect. We do see issues from time to time, and they are always disruptive.

Apex Legends unable to connect to EA servers (June 18) issue
There is an ongoing issue with EA's servers, preventing players from connecting and playing Apex Legends. This issue is currently being investigated by Respawn, so stay tuned for any updates. The outage started at about 4:30 p.m. BST.

This error is on EA's end, so there is nothing you can do about it for now. Should any official resolutions be shared, we will update this article.

Down Detector is a third-party site that keeps track of online games' servers, including Apex Legends. Here, you can check out issues that have already been reported by other gamers in the community. There's even a chart that shows outage report data so you can get a better understanding of the game's recent server history.
Specific to Apex Legends is Apex Legends Status, that displays the current server status of the game. You can report any errors here.
What do I do if Apex Legends servers are down - but it seems to just be me?
If nobody else seems to be reporting issues with the games servers, it could be an entirely different network issue. Check to see if there's any issue with the console you're playing on — Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, Steam, Origin. You can also try checking your own internet connection, maybe restarting your network or your console/PC.
