Sparrow is coming to Apex Legends. What abilities will he bring with him?
Todays Apex Legends Trailer has officially revealed that Sparrow is coming to Apex Legends. We had previously been thrown off that the next Legend might have been called Artemis, but as was leaked some time ago the next Legend will be called Sparrow.
At the moment, we don't have confirmed details about what Sparrow will do in the game. However, as is often the case, we have had some leaked information about this Legend over the last few months.
We will update this article with official abilities once confirmed. However, for now bear in mind that none of this is official and is based on leaks. Things can, and do, change over time when Legends are developed by Respawn and EA.

Sparrow Apex Legends abilities
According to leaks, Sparrows abilities are as follows:
- Passive: The ability to visually detect sounds made by enemies while stationary
- Tactical: A bear trap or a pulse blade (this ability has had a lot of variation)
- Ultimate: A crossbow that can fire a charged projectile, that resembles a Charge Rifle shot (somewhat similar to Vantage)
Now, we don't know if these have changed since the last major leak. What we do know from the Trailer, and ALGS Open merch, is that Sparrow will feature Bow and Arrows in some way. Whether that be this apparent Ultimate, or just for the characters general appearance and lore.
We haven't seen a new Legend added to Apex in a few seasons, so this is exciting. Legend production was slowed down a while ago, to allow more focus on rebalancing existing Legends and reworking those that aren't popular.
Usually, Legends release pretty strong so expect to be able to have some fun with Sparrow and his abilities when Apex Legends Season 25 releases on May 6.
