Here's what players can expect during the Apex Legends x Gundam event.
Electronic Arts (EA) just revealed that Apex Legends is getting a Gundam event. This collaboration features new gameplay, cosmetics, weapons, and more. Read on for the Apex Legends x Gundam release date, full trailer, and details.
Apex Legends Gundam release date
The Apex Legends x Gundam collaboration goes live on March 10. Ahead of this release date, EA shared an official trailer for it. The video showed iconic weapons like the Buster Rifle and Gundam-inspired cosmetics.

The trailer also teased a transformed Broken Moon. According to EA, when players drop into Wildcard, they can duke it out on the Gundam battlefield. They can also expect Mobile Suits scattered across the map, statues, and ships. In terms of what else to expect, the event lets players fight with Gundam abilities with New Wild Cards. These include Epyon’s Lash, Heavyarms Salvo, Zero Sacrifice, and Zero Rebirth.

As for event items, they include new skins for eight legends plus the Char Aznable-inspired Sparrow skin. There are eight Gundam-themed weapon skins as well. Examples include the Buster Rifle Kraber, Destiny 99 R-99, and Aerial 301 R-301.
The Gundam mythics, meanwhile, are the Epyon Heat Rod and Beam Saber. They are possible drops via event packs.
Apex Legends Gundam figures
Outside of the game, BANDAI NAMCO is releasing three Apex Legends-inspired kits as well. The featured legends are Crypto, Valkyrie, and Alter.
“Each kit will be available for pre-order online from March 18 while supplies last,” EA stated. More details can be found via the Apex Legends shop and the PREMIUM BANDAI website.
