Get ready to spin the new Karambit in Apex Legends Season 23.
Apex Legends is getting a brand new universal Heirloom in Season 23, the Raptors Claw Karambit. Dubbed "the spinniest Heirloom to date" the Karambit joins a fast growing collection of universal cosmetics in Apex Legends.
In particular, this Heirloom is aimed at players who are focused on competitive integrity. Some of the universal Heirlooms in the game have been unpopular due to their size. The first such, the Buster Sword, covers up a significant portion of your screen.
As a result, the Karambit is one of the sleekest melee cosmetics in the entirety of Apex Legends and will no doubt be popular amongst those who love Wraith's heirloom.

How do you get the Karambit in Apex Legends?
The Karambit will release through the the Void Mercenary Store from which releases on November 11.
Once you've unlocked the Raptors Claw Karambit, you can also unlock the Crystal Chamber Deathbox.
After this Event is over, the Karambit will enter the Mythic Shop. This is when you can use Heirloom Shards to get your hands on it, instead of spending your hard-earned cash.
Will there still be Legend specific Heirlooms?
Fear not, your favourite Legend will still get an Heirloom eventually. Despite shifting towards releasing universal Heirlooms, they have also clarified that they will still be releasing Legend specific Heirlooms in the future.
However, Universal Heirlooms are far more accessible and as a result more popular. If you chose to release a Heirloom for Vantage, only Vantage players (mostly) will want that Heirloom. By releasing things like the Karambit, all Apex players can enjoy the purchase no matter who they play. If a Legend you invested into an Heirloom for gets a huge nerf, that can be a very frustrating situation.
So, while Legend Heirlooms are still planned - expect to see more and more Universal Heirlooms as time goes on.
