The ALGS Year 5 Championship Pick 'Ems are here, giving you the opportunity to show your Apex Legends Global Series knowledge and prowess, or to know if you'll be lucky enough to guess the winners. Here's how you can join in the fun and enhance your viewing experience.

ALGS Year 5 Championship Pick'Ems

Inspired by the League of Legends Pick 'Em system, Apex Legends Status' developer Hugo Derave is adding back the feature to the website.

To make your pickems, head over to the ALS website. Note that you need to have an ALS account to save your Pick 'Ems. Hugo suggests doing this on PC, as the drag-and-drop system for teams makes things easy. For mobile users, tapping the team brings it to the next available slot.

The Pick 'Ems are separated across three phases: Group Stage, Bracket Stage, and Match Point Finals. Your picks for each phase lock right before the phase starts. You will be able to rank teams based on their qualification status and leaderboard rank. Points are awarded based on each team's outcome and placement.

Hugo added that he was a fan of League's "Crystal Ball" challenges, and has reflected this in his ALGS Pick 'Ems. There are some challenges per phase, such as "Which weapon will get the longest kill distance," "Which team will take the most total ring damage," and more. These challenges don't award that many points, but add some spice to the experience.
