The ALGS Championship will take place in Birmingham, UK between September 6-10. Full details on where to watch, the schedule and more.
The ALGS Championship will conclude the 22-23 ALGS season, with a total of $2 million to be shared amongst the teams. The event will take place in Birmingham between September 6-10 at the Resorts World Arena.
Teams have qualified for the ALGS Championship either through their performance at the two Playoff events, or through the Last Chance Qualifier. This will be the first ALGS event held since the Season 18 update.
ALGS Championship Schedule
The ALGS Championship will be played over five days, a day longer than the playoff LANs. While the group stage will remain six matches per set, the bracket stage will be expanded to eight games.
Play will begin at the following times each day:
- Wednesday, September 6 - 10:00 BST
- Thursday, September 7 - 10:00 BST
- Friday, September 8 - 16:00 BST
- Saturday, September 9 - 12:00 BST
- Sunday, September 10 - 16:00 BST
ALGS Championship Groups
Teams have been snake seeded based off their 'playoff points' into the four ALGS Championship groups. Each group will play a six game series against every other group. Total scores will be tallied, and the top 20 and bottom 20 teams will head to the upper and lower brackets.
The groups are as follows:
Group C see's an exciting match up between Alliance and Dojo. The two star-studded rosters are battling it out over Thermal Station on Worlds Edge, with the contest likely to continue all the way to Birmingham.
How many teams are from each region?
ALGS Champs does not have a set amount of team per region, unlike the two playoff events. Instead, regions were only guaranteed a minimum of two slots via the LCQ's. As a result of their dominance at the past LAN events North America is sending the most teams to the event.

The event, held at the Resorts World Arena will have a live crowd as well as comprehensive online coverage.
In Person:
Tickets for the event are still available. Single-day and five-day tickets for the ALGS Championship are available via TicketFactory.
Additionally, ALGS ticket holders will also qualify for discounted tickets to Insomnia the Gaming Festival, which will feature additional opportunities to meet Apex Legends cosplayers. Discount codes will be emailed to ALGS attendees.
The event will once again see merch booths, meet and greets plus exclusive ALGS event merchandise on offer.

New faces join Talent Pool for the ALGS Championship
There are a range of new faces joining the talent pool for the Championship, including some notable competitors and streamers from the Apex community.
Ben "Zephyr" Fossitt will also be making his ALGS LAN debut, following in the footsteps of DiA who debuted at the Split 2 Playoffs.
Reigning Number One predator joins ALGS talent pool
Among the streamers and competitors joining the ALGS Championship broadcast is reigning number one Apex Predator Thales "WeThePeople". The Streamer broke all records with his humongous grind for the top ranked spot in Season 17, ending well over 600k LP.
esports.gg spoke to WeThePeople about the call-up: "Super amped for the opportunity. It’s been a dream of mine to work the stage for ALGS. It’s a blessing to play video games for a living and it’s opened so many doors. Huge shout out to EA for giving me this chance. I’m truly living my dream."

ALGS Championship Prize Pool
The ALGS Championship sees a joint-record $2 million prizing. This makes it the joint highest prized Apex Legends event, tied with last years ALGS Champs in Raleigh.
The prizing will once again be split amongst just the top 20 teams, increasing the stakes for teams to reach the finals.

The readjustment of distribution from last years event means that the winner of the event will receive the highest individual prize ever awarded by the ALGS.
