PRX vs XLG at Champions 2025: Match recaps

Check back here after the matches to catch the highlights from each game.

Map 1: Bind

Xi Lai Gaming came out swinging, securing an early pistol round and following it up with strong plays. However, Paper Rex was determined to assert control and showcase their signature style. Unlike the second match, this game was much more balanced, with a confident Xi Lai Gaming quickly capitalizing on PRX’s small mistakes. The first half ended tied at 6-6, leaving room for different strategies in the second half, but XLG couldn’t fully capitalize. In the end, PRX secured the win 13-9, despite XLG demonstrating impressive aim and solid positioning throughout the match.

Map 2: Sunset

The second map was far more one-sided, with Paper Rex’s strong start setting the tone for the entire match. One player stood out, living up to the hype by delivering the tournament’s first ace. Unable to respond to PRX’s relentless aggression, Xi Lai Gaming quickly fell, and the map concluded in under 40 minutes.
