Some leaks hint that Riot plans to release a new bundle, though they haven’t confirmed it yet. We’ll keep you updated as soon as more information becomes available.

Year of the Horse

On the official VALORANT X, Riot has released a new trailer for the celebrations. We are able to see both Gekko and Iso having fun trying to destroy all flying targets. Their dialogue included multiple references to horses, as 2026 marks the Year of the Horse. Some fans speculate that the background music is a sneak peek at a Chinese rap song coming out to celebrate the event.

As a user explained under the post, "this is a Chinese worldplay joke." While “马” means horse, “马枪” is slang for missing the shot. And that is why the teaser is all about nontsop failed shots.

Each Chinese New Year is represented by a different animal. Over a 12-year cycle, each animal symbolizes certain personality traits and is associated with popular traditions, such as dragon and lion dances, red decorations, and fireworks. The festival is widely celebrated across East and Southeast Asia. The Year of the Horse symbolises energy, independence, and momentum.
