G2 vs DRG at Champions 2025: Match recaps

Be sure to check back here for all the match highlights as the action unfolds.

Map 1

Even as favorites, G2 didn’t start as strongly as expected. DRG, unfazed by the crowd’s support for G2, won five rounds in a row. However, G2’s experience began to show, and the NA team responded with four consecutive victories, leveling the score for both teams. However, in the second half, G2 woke up from their fever dream, pushed their typical judges and odins, and crushed DRG just like it was a chill weekend day.

Map 2

In the second map, G2 continued to prove why they’re considered one of the best teams, showing DRG why so many opponents fear facing them. The first half was dominated by the NA squad, though DRG managed to secure key rounds to even the score at 6-6 heading into halftime. But after the break, DRG struggled against a confident G2, who played with precision, barely missed a shot, and made excellent use of their utility.
