How to level up fast in The First Descendant

There are four things we can recommend in order to level up as fast as possible in The First Descendant. It is best that you complete these with other players, because you can gain EXP from objectives they complete and enemies they defeat.

Use a Descendant EXP Boost

You can purchase Descendant EXP Boosts from the in-game shop. They'll cost you some Caliber, varying in price depending on how long they last. As well, some may be earned through challenges or even given as compensation for server issues. Use them to receive a healthy EXP increase while you simply play.

Equip an EXP boosting External Component

External Components are items you can equip to activate a passive buff. You can gain defensive boosts, extra damage, and even additional EXP. The latter are quite rare, but grinding for one and attaching it to your Descendant is a great way to level up fast.

Void Intercept missions are a great way to increase your EXP exponentially. The tougher the enemy, the harder it'll be to complete. But if you do them properly with a full squad of players, you can see a nice level increase at the end.

Farm the Kingston Albion Resource Defense Special Operation

After you defeat Greg during the main story, this Special Operation becomes available. Waves of enemies attack you, and after the seventh, you can decide to exit or continue. The longer you survive, the more EXP you earn to level up fast in The First Descendant. And it can be a lot.
