Here are some Schedule I console commands that may boost your game’s performance! If you want cheats in Schedule I, we have that too!

In Schedule I, console commands are incredibly useful, whether you want cheats or not. There may even be a command to help you run the game better! Check out all of the essential Schedule I console commands you need to know.

How to turn on the Console in Schedule I

Before you get to typing your console commands, you first have to enable it. Luckily, this is as simple as it gets.

Go to the Settings (if you're not in the main menu, press Escape to gain access to the menu).

The first thing you'll see is a toggle to enable the console. When it's enabled, you can press the tilde (~) key anytime in-game to enter commands.

Schedule I console commands

  • cleartrash - clears all trash
  • showfps - display FPS
  • save - save game anywhere
  • bind [key] - bind a key to a command

The most important one to know is cleartrash. It clears all garbage items in the entire map, and it can improve your frames by a ton. Just type it in and hit enter, and (hopefully) your performance will skyrocket. Whether this is a cheat or not is up to you, since it completely eliminates the need for a Cleaner on your properties.

To know exactly how much the cleartrash command helps, you can use showfps to have a small FPS counter on the top left corner of your screen. hidefps undoes this change.

The simple save command saves your game, wherever you are.

Lastly, if you feel the need to use cleartrash (or any command, really) often, the bind command is really useful. To use it, have a key and a command in mind. For example, to bind cleartrash to the F1 key:

  • bind F1 cleartrash

Or to make the time progress quicker and bind it to N:

  • bind N `settimescale 2`

If you want to remove the bind, simply use unbind or clearbinds to clear all binds.

  • unbind F1
  • clearbinds

Note that binds do not carry over play sessions. Once you close the game, you lose all binds.
