Stonebite is a prehistoric crop that players can harvest to upgrade the Dinosaur Machine.
Whether you want to make your Dinosaur Machine more efficient or you’re trying to complete a Dino Quest, getting a Stonebite in Grow a Garden is relatively easy compared to most crops in the game.
The Stonebite is one of the newest crops introduced during the Prehistoric Update, and like other crops of its kind, it sticks to the dinosaur-themed update by having an appearance resembling a dinosaur’s mouth.
In case you never had this plant before, we’ll give you the ways of how you can get it right away while the Prehistoric Event is still up.

Getting the Stonebite seed in Grow a Garden

To have the Stonebite crop in your yard, you’ll need its seed, which is currently available in the following seed packs:
- Ancient Seed Pack
- Exotic Seed Pack
- Rainbow Sack
The Rainbow Sack is the rarest among the three, and it can only be obtained by opening an Exotic Seed Pack for a 1% chance. The Exotic Seed, on the other hand, is only available at the Limited Time Shop for 199 Robux.
Considering that both the Exotic Seed Pack and the Rainbow Sack will require you to spend real money on Robux, the best and most logical option you have to get Stonebite is by opening Ancient Seed Pack. After all, Stonebite is just an Uncommon plant, so it won’t make sense to buy Exotic Seed Packs unless you’re also eyeing other seeds like Lotus or the Venus Fly Trap.

You can collect as many Ancient Seed Packs as you can during the Prehistoric Update by crafting them at the table beside the Prehistoric Quest Giver. All you need is just one Dinosaur Egg and 5.5 million Sheckles, and you should have a couple of Ancient Seed Packs after an hour.
The chance of getting a Stonebite seed from an Ancient Seed Pack is 40%, so you’ll likely get lots of it if you keep on crafting Ancient Seed Packs and opening them at the end of the day.
Is Stonebite a multi-harvest plant?
Stonebite in Grow a Garden is not a multi-harvest plant. This means once you start collecting the Stonebites that you planted, they won’t regrow anymore, so just craft Ancient Seed packs if you want more.
