Get your Palkia ready for battle in Pokémon GO.

Palkia is one of the best Pokémon in the entirety of Pokémon GO. It is a fantastic Raid attacker and is also a very good Pokémon in the Master League PvP. However, to unlock all that potential you will need to make sure you have the best moveset on your Palkia.

Thankfully, we've put together everything you need to know to have the right moves.

Please note that this applies to the standard form of Palkia, not the Origin Forme. That has a different set of moves, including the very powerful Spacial Rend Adventure Effect move.

Palkia best Pokémon GO moveset

Having the best moveset on a Pokémon can be make or break, especially in PvP. However, sometimes getting the right moveset on a specific Pokémon can be expensive, requiring up to two Elite TMs. Thankfully, you can access all of the best Palkia moves without using any Elite TMs.

If you are planning to use Palkia in the Master League for PvP battles, you will need to unlock a second move in order to be fully optimised.

The best Palkia moveset in Pokémon GO is:

  • Dragon Breath
  • Aqua Tail
  • Draco Meteor

Palkia, in the standard form, is the 12th best Pokémon for Master League PvP as things stand. With a second move of Aqua Tail, Palkia has significantly more coverage and can take on Ground-type Pokémon like Landorus and Rhyperior that are strong in PvP.

Then, Draco Meteor is very strong in Pokémon GO PvP but is also an excellent Dragon-type Attack for Raids. With Draco Meteor and Dragon Breath, Palkia is a top 20 Dragon-type attacker ranking ahead of Garchomp, Salamence, Dialga and Dragonite.

All moves Palkia can learn in Pokémon GO:

Fast Attacks:

  • Dragon Breath
  • Dragon Tail

Charged Attacks:

  • Aqua Tail
  • Fire Blast
  • Hydro Pump
  • Draco Meteor

With all of Palkia's moves being accessible via regular TM's, getting the best Palkia moveset in Pokémon GO is very simple. So, make sure to optimise your Palkia as soon as you catch it after your Raid.
