Everything you need to know ahead of GO Fest Global.
The Pokémon GO Fest Global is finally here this weekend. You can take part on Saturday June 28, and Sunday June 29 between 10am and 6pm in your local time zone. Pokémon GO Fest Global is the biggest weekend of the year in the game, and is an amazing time to play Pokémon GO.
Here are some tips and tricks to make the most of your playtime over the weekend.

Thanks to the Community Challenge, the following bonuses will also be in effect:
- Premier Balls have an increased catch rate
- Party Power Damage will charge up faster in Raids
While there are a few bonuses for all Trainers, you'll need the ticket to really enjoy GO Fest Global to its maximum. Particularly, with the boosted shiny odds, Pokémon GO Fest Global can be a great time to grab hard to get shinies.
There are also some additional bonuses contained inside the brand new GO Pass Deluxe, this year. That includes bonuses increasing catch candy and XP from Raids, and also several Egg related bonuses.
Prepare your item bag
A key aspect to prepare is to take time to get your bag ready for Pokémon GO Fest Global. You want to make sure you have a good supply of Poké Balls. Some of the spawns have pretty low catch rates so you'll need a lot of balls to use, and Berries too.
If your bag is full, throw away regular Poké balls in favour of Great and Ultra Balls as these are more effective.
You also need to make sure you have enough space for Pokémon. The day before, and the time between the two GO Fest Global days is a great chance to clean out your bag. Trade, transfer all those Pokémon you don't need to clear as much space as possible. There is a bundle in the store that lets you increase your storage at a discounted rate.
Finally, grab any Incubators, Lucky Eggs and Star Pieces that you want to use this weekend if you're prepared to send some coins in the store. Once again there are some good value bundles on offer across the event.

The best spawns to look out for during Pokémon GO Fest Global 2025
There is a whole range of different Pokémon spawning during GO Fest Global. Naturally, some of them are a touch more exciting than others.
Of course, some might be more exciting than others. You might have missed a Community Day or not grabbed a shiny for a certain Pokémon, so make sure to look through all the 2025 Pokémon GO Fest Spawns before the event starts.
However, we have pulled out some of the better Pokémon in each habitat that we suggest paying particular attention to.

Good Pokémon GO Fest Global daily spawns
There are also Pokémon spawning each day, Saturday and Sunday. Highlights include:
- Larvitar (Saturday)
- Vullaby (Saturday)
- Goomy (Saturday)
- Ralts (Sunday)
- Pawniard (Sunday)
- Deino (Sunday)
- Jangmo-o (Sunday)
It's also important to have Incense active as this will be attracting special Pokémon. Several Unowns will be spawning, as will Torkoal, Skiddo, Pachirisu and Klefki. All of these are rare Pokémon and well worth your time.

Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Global Raids
Compared to last years Pokémon GO Fest, it might feel like hardly any Pokémon are in Raids. We have a much shorter list of things spawning. However, that will make grinding good IVs and shinies a lot easier.
Raids are once again split, with Crowned Shield Zamazenta appearing on Saturday and Crowned Sword Zacian appearing on Sunday. Both of these can have a special Background.

In addition there are some Pokémon in One and Three-star Raids across the weekend. These are the three costumed Pikachu, the costumed Falinks and Frigibax which is a brand new shiny.
Need to do more Raids than time allows? Remote Raids are once again unlimited during Pokémon GO Fest Global.
Best Mega Pokémon to use
The best mega Pokémon to use this weekend varies per day. On Saturday you want Mega Lucario or Mega Medicham. Then, for Sunday, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Mawile or Mega Diancie will be great if they are at Mega Level 3. These all have dual typing so will boost some wild spawn catch candy as well as give you bonus XL candy.
Good luck this weekend, Trainers!
