Time to get things wet and humid in Pokopia!
In Pokémon Pokopia, you’ll reach a certain point where you’ll need to increase the humidity of your settlement. Whether it’s for increasing the comfort levels of your humid-loving friends or making it rain so that you can save Onix, here are the ways to raise humidity in the game.

Raising humidity in Pokémon Pokopia
If you want to increase humidity in your town to complete the “Yawn up a storm” request from Professor Tangrowth, you have to perform a series of tasks from three Pokémon: Slowbro, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle. Talk to them to know more about the details.
Essentially, all of the requests you’ll receive from the tree Pokémon are ways of enhancing the humidity levels in Pokopia. The methods are the following:
Method 1: Restoring dried dirt with Water Gun

Watering dried dirt increases the humidity levels of an area by a bit, and it also allows you to plant various vegetables and specific habitats.
Method 2: Smashing a rubble blocking a stream of water

You may come across rubble or rocks with water seeping from them. Use Rock Smash to break them, and a stream of water will gush out, forming small pools. This will also increase the humidity levels in the surrounding area.
Method 3: Putting a Horsea Fountain on a body of water

You can obtain Horsea Fountains either by purchasing them at the PC shop or by finding them in ruins on Dream Islands. Placing one in a body of water will directly increase the surrounding humidity.
Method 4: Making humidity-increasing habitats
Some habitats also improve the humidity in Pokémon Pokopia. These are:
- Hydrated tall grass: Plant four tall grass along the edge of a non-oceanic body of water.
- Rain Dance site: Place two Castform weather charms on a wall and create a planted food near them. You can make a planted food by placing a berry on a wooden plate, and you can obtain Castform weather charms in Dream Islands or the area pointed out by Professor Tangrowth.
- Field of flowers: This habitat is the larger version of the pretty flower bed. All you need are eight pieces of wildflower seeds, and plant them in a field grass area.
- Any tree-related habitat: Like flowers, trees can also make a place humid, according to Bulbasaur.

Tip: For the Rain Dance site, make sure that the Castform weather charms are set up in Rainy Form. While this habitat doesn’t passively increase humidity, it does help by triggering rain.
Benefits of making an area humid in the game
Increasing the humidity of certain areas of your settlement is ideal for some Pokémon, especially the Water types and a number of Grass types. If you provide humid homes for those Pokémon, their comfort levels will increase, allowing you to also increase your environment level.
Humidity is also an important factor for Slowbro’s Yawn Specialty to work, which checks your place’s humidity level and triggers rain, a requirement for completing the request that leads you to save Onix and restore the broken Pokémon Center.
