How to get Toxel in Pokémon GO

Toxel is making its way into Pokémon GO first during the Into the Wild event, and then during GO Wild. However, you will not be able to encounter this Pokémon in the Wild.

We've put together everything you need to know about getting your hands on Toxel, if shiny Toxel is avaliable and some tips and tricks for doing so!

During the Into the Wild event, and then during the GO Wild: Global event Trainers can hatch Toxel from 10 KM Eggs. Toxel will be avaliable in any 10 KM Eggs that you acquire from 00:01 local time on November 18, 2024. Any pre-existing 10 KM Eggs will not be able to hatch Toxel.

No matter what, all Trainers will be able to get their hands on 10 KM Eggs that can hatch Toxel. However, Toxel is not the only Pokémon avaliable in those Eggs, so is not a guaranteed hatch.

If you want to improve your chances of getting your hands on Toxel, there is a way. For $5 (or local equivalent) Trainers can get their hands on the Into the Wild: Hatch ticket. There is a range of bonuses included, such as boosted Hatch Stardust, XP and Candy as well as reduced Hatch Distance.

However, the key bonus is an increased chance of hatching Toxel. For Trainers without the ticket, Toxel will be a 'level 3' rarity from 10 KM Eggs. For Trainers with the ticket, that is reduced to 'Level One'.

That means that if you're serious about hunting Toxel, you will want to pick up the ticket to have the best chance.

Thankfully, Toxel is also being debuted into Pokémon GO in its shiny form at the same time. That means that any Toxel you hatch has a chance to be shiny. The odds aren't boosted, so you'll need a little bit of luck in order to get your hands on one.

If you want a shiny Toxel, you really would benefit from investing into the paid ticket.
