How can you get the latest Pokémon to debut in Pokémon GO, Nickit?
The Deep Depths event in Pokémon GO is debuting Nickit, and its evolution, Thievul into the game for the first time. That means Trainers will want to hunt these Fox-themed Pokémon down in order to add two more 'Mon to their Galar PokéDex in game.
There has been a bit of controversy around new Pokémon debuts recently. Often new Pokémon are released through means that require spending some money to get them. This includes Raids and Eggs, which are expensive to complete.
But, is that the same for the debut of Nickit? Here is everything you need to know.
How to get Nickit in Pokémon GO
Thankfully, you will not need to spend any of your hard earned Poké Coins to hunt Nickit. During the Deep Depths event (which runs from Wednesday, March 19 until Monday, March 24) Nickit will be spawning in the wild.
However, as revealed in the Pokémon GO event blog, Nickit will be a rarer wild spawn. So, it might take you some time to track this Pokémon down.

How to get Thievul in Pokémon GO
You'll need to find at least a few Nickit before you can also add Thievul to your collection. This is because you will need 50 Nickit Candy to evolve it into Thievul.
Thievul can only be obtained through evolution and is not avaliable in the wild or through any other means at the moment.
Nickit is also in 7 km Eggs
If you want to save some time you can also chase Nickit through 7 km Eggs. You can get these by opening gifts from friends after the event starts at 10 a.m. on March 19 in your local timezone. Existing 7 km Eggs won't contain Nickit.

There are four Pokémon in these 7 km Eggs, so your chances to hatch some are decent but as always, RNG of course does apply!
