Everything you need to know about Bouffalant in Pokémon GO.
Bouffalant is a tricky Pokémon to locate in Pokémon GO. As a result, for a lot of Trainers, it is a gaping hole in their Unova PokéDex collection.
Thankfully, there has never been a better time to try and get Bouffalant in Pokémon GO. This is because February and March features Unova Tour events which will change the availability of Bouffalant in the game.
So, here's everything that you need to know.
Where do you find Bouffalant in Pokémon GO?
The reason Bouffalant is so hard to get in Pokémon GO is that it is a regional exclusive Pokémon. There are a few Pokémon like this in the game, where you can only locate that Pokémon in a certain area, country or region.
You can only usually encounter Bouffalant in the New York City region. This includes some of Virginia, as well as some of Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and DC.

So, if you live in or are visiting these areas you can find, encounter and then catch Bouffalant like you would any other Pokémon in the game. It will spawn in the wild at random.

Trade for Bouffalant
Of course, there are other ways to get Bouffalant if you can't physically make it to the New York City region. The number one method is to trade for it. You might know someone who lives in or has visited this region, and they will be able to trade this Pokémon to you.
This will be considered a Special Trade, so make sure you are a high friendship level if you want to save on Stardust.
Play the Unova Tour event
There is a way to get Bouffalant, worldwide, for a limited time. Trainers attending the Unova Tour in person, or playing the Global event during the first weekend in March will be able to get their hands on Bouffalant anywhere in the world.
This will be through 10 km Eggs. It will sit in these Eggs alongside other regional Pokémon, Maractus and Sigilyph as well as the ever popular Larvesta.
That means you have your best chance to get Bouffalant in Pokémon GO coming up soon, so don't miss out!
