Get ready to catch some flower Pokémon for an upcoming Community Day!
September is known as the harvest month, and what a way to celebrate such an occasion by letting millions of Pokémon GO players participate in a Flabébé Community Day.
Flabébé is a Fairy-type Pokémon from Gen 6. Known as the Single Bloom Pokémon, it spends most of its life taking care of a flower as if it’s a part of its body. As it rides its flower, Flabébé draws power from it, and the flower’s pollen is believed to have healing properties.

Flabébé poses no threat in battles, but it can still pack quite a punch once it reaches its final form, Florges. However, if we compare Florges to other Fairy-type attackers and its performance in PvP matches, it seems to be lacking some offensive prowess.
Still, if you’re just starting out and you need a counter for Dragon types, Flabébé would be a great investment. Here are the details that you need to know if you want to play during the Flabébé Community Day.

Featured Pokémon: Flabébé
For the Flabébé Community Day, players will encounter Flabébé more frequently in the wild. The region you play in dictates Flabébé’s flower color.
- Red Flower Flabébé will appear in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
- Blue Flower Flabébé will appear in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Yellow Flower Flabébé will appear in the Americas.
Regardless of your location, there’s a chance that you might encounter these types of Flabébé:
- White Flower Flabébé
- Orange Flower Flabébé
Additionally, as long as the event is active, you’ll also get an increased chance of encountering a Shiny Flabébé if you complete this event’s Timed Research.
Evolving Floette (Flabébé’s evolved form) starting from this event until 10 p.m. on September 21 (local time), will allow you to get a Florges that knows the Charged Attack Chilling Water. This move also lowers the opposing Pokémon’s Attack when used in Trainer Battles.
Shiny Flabébé, Shiny Floette, and Shiny Florges
Except for the color of their flowers, all forms of Flabébé’s evolution chain looked the same when Shiny. Hence, we’ll only feature the regular and Shiny forms of the White Flower Flabébé line.

Flabébé Community Day: Pokémon GO Tips and Tricks
Although Florges is a poor choice for raids and Trainer battles, its Defense makes it a decent Gym Defender. If you can get one to have the Charge Attack Chilling Water, Florges can give your opponent some trouble with the move’s debuff.
For those who aren't interested in Flabébé, you can also consider claiming all the research encounters that you’ve stacked over time during the event. You’ll only get extra Candy, though.
Speaking about Candy, you can further stack your candy-earning potential by mega evolving Fairy types in the game. Here are the Pokémon that you can mega-evolve during the Flabébé Community Day:
Don't forget some other easy tips:
- Avoid capturing any Pokémon before the event starts. They can turn into Flabébé.
- Keep spinning as many PokéStops as you can to acquire the event’s Field Research and extra resources.
- Time your Lures and Incense properly! Wait for the event to start first to get the bonuses.
- Have fun!
