Here is the best Darkrai EX deck in Pokémon TCG Pocket.

While the deck centers around Darkrai EX, Toxicroak and Honchkrow also play a huge role in helping defeat opponents. Here is a complete breakdown of the deck build.

All Pokémon cards in the deck

First off, we have to discuss Darkrai EX's involvement in this deck since he is the title card. While Darkrai's only move does 80 damage, it's the Pokémon's ability that makes it so strong. Darkrai's Nightmare Aura lets you do 20 damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon each time you place a Dark Energy on the Pokémon.

We then included Croagunk and Toxicroak. Toxicroak is a heavy hitter because its one move, Group Beatdown, lets players do 40 damage to their opponent's active Pokémon per how many Pokémon they have on the field.

The final set of Pokémon we included in this deck is Murkrow and Honchkrow. Honchkrow's attack only requires two Dark Energies and does 50 damage to a random Pokémon on your opponent's field, which can help you take out benched Pokémon before they can even be played in the active spot.

All Trainer cards in the deck

Trainer cards are just as essential as the Pokémon in a deck, and that is why we included 10 of the best Trainer cards we found suitable for this build.

To begin, we first included Dawn. This card's effect lets players put an extra Energy onto one of their Pokémon. Team Galactic Grunt is also an essential Trainer card for this deck, as it lets players take a Croagunk from their deck and put it in their hand.

Giant Cape is the only Tool Trainer card we included, as it gives the Pokémon it is equipped to an extra booth of 20 HP. Poké Ball is just an essential, as it helps you get those starter Pokémon in your hand.

And finally, we included Professor's Research. This card has been around since the app's beginning and proves time and time again to be one of the best Supporter Trainer cards in the game.

Weak against

This deck has a particular weakness to Grass-type Pokémon. This means that a Torterra deck or Venusaur deck will have the advantage, so be prepared when battling these Pokémon.

Strong against

Going up against a Psychic deck? Well, you will be happy to know that Dark-type Pokémon are strong against Psychic-type Pokémon. Mewtwo who? Never heard of 'em because this deck will surely be sending all those Pokémon to the discard pile.
