How to unlock Ermac and Mavado in Mortal Kombat 1?
Arguably the simplest method to get Ermac, Mavado, and every other MK1 DLC character and Kameo is to purchase Kombat Pack.
- MK1 Kombat Pack costs $39.99. It includes six playable characters and five Kameo FIghters.
If you purchase Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition for $109.99, your bonuses will include the Kombat Pack and Early Access to the DLC characters. For example, the release date for MK1 Ermac will be April 16 for you.
It is a very good idea to check sales on your gaming platform. MK1 Premium Edition costs $54.99 during PlayStation Spring Sale (till April 24, 2024), which is cheaper than the base game.
How to unlock Ermac in MK1?
If you don’t need other DLC characters, you can buy Ermac separately. It will be available for purchase after the full release on April 23.

Who are Kameo Fighters?
They are assistants in Mortal Kombat 1. You can take one playable character to your match and one Kameo Fighter.
- Press R1/RB on your controller to summon that Kameo.
- R1/RB + directional input change type of Kameo assists.
The base MK1 game contains 15 Kameo Fighters, and five of them can be unlocked by levelling up your account.
