The MPL PH Season 16 Regular Season will soon kick off with 8 teams competing for the championship title and a ticket to the M7 World Championship. Scheduled to start on Aug. 22, this season has a ton of stories to follow from players returning to their debut teams to rookies looking to shine on the big stage. Needless to say, there are many reasons to look forward to the upcoming tournament.
With that said, here is more information about the MPL-PH Season 16, including match schedules, real-time results, format, and where you can watch the broadcast.
MPL-PH Season 16 Format and Prize Pool
The tournament is divided into two sections. The first one is the Regular Season, which will last from Aug. 22 to Oct. 12, 2025. Matches will be in a Double round-robin Best-of-three (Bo3) format. The winner of each series will get one point. The top 6 teams at the end of the regular season will proceed to the playoffs.
The Playoffs stage schedule is yet to be revealed. Matches on this stage will be in a Hybrid Elimination. Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final matches will be settled in a Bo7 series. The rest of the matches will be in a Bo5 series.
