Take control of these five teams in MLB The Show 25’s Franchise mode if you want the challenge of a tough rebuild.

Every time a sports game comes out, players want to rebuild teams. Maybe they've fallen off, are just shy of glory, or are a favorite of yours you think could be better managed in-game? Whatever the case may be, we've got the five teams you should rebuild in MLB The Show 25.

Here are 5 teams to rebuild in the Franchise mode of MLB The Show 25

The five teams we've chosen for you are completely based on our opinion. You can rebuild any team you want, but these five in MLB The Show 25 are definitely ones you'll have a good, challenging time with.

Here we go.

St. Louis Cardinals

The Cards have the second-most World Series wins in MLB history. But their glory days seem behind them. You can change that with some tough decisions. Do you keep your veterans on board or give them up in hopes of high trade value or upcoming prospects?

Get JJ Wetherholt and Tink Hence ready to party in the majors and you could be set. Baseball is just better when the birds on the bat are doing well. They've lost a lot of key pieces over the last few years, and it will be up to you to replace them.

Colorado Rockies

The Rockies have not been good for a while. Some years, they show promise, but their division is brutal with the likes of the Dodgers and Padres hanging around. Thankfully, there's a veteran presence you can use to help you get around the first couple of years during your rebuild.

Focus on getting some power in your lineup through trades and the draft. Your home field is Coors Field, where the elevation will send balls out of the park. Take advantage of that and you'll be on your way to a WS in no time.

Miami Marlins

The Miami Marlins could be the most fun you have during a Franchise rebuild in MLB The Show 25. Their main roster isn't great, but some studs are up in the majors. They've got incredible pitching prospects and Sandy Alcantara on the team.

Build around him as your Ace and get those prospects ready to call up. Once you do that, just find a couple of good hitters to slot into your lineup and you'll be off to the races. Play this right and you could turn around their fortunes in just a season or two.

Athletics

The Athletics left Oakland and will play the 2025 season in a Sacramento minor league field. They're on their way to Las Vegas at some point in real life, but this is your rebuild and you can send them wherever you'd like.

They're a bad team and have been for a long time. But you can be their fresh start. Find them a permanent home, take control of their players, and put up some runs to get the Athletics their 10th World Series win.

Chicago White Sox

This is the most obvious rebuild you can do in MLB The Show 25's Franchise mode. They're coming off a the worst record in the modern MLB era. They need all the help they can get and this will be a challenging task.

Take the lead of the White Sox brass and whip the team into shape. They've got virtually nothing to work with, so you'll need to hang on before your efforts are rewarding. But that's what makes a rebuild like this one so fun.
