Team Liquid in First Stand 2025
Team Liquid is one of five invited teams competing in the 2025 First Stand tournament that's running from March 10 to March 16. The other teams are Hanwha Life, Top Esports, Karmine Corp, and CTBC Flying Oyster. The event features the Fearless Draft format, where League of Legends champions can only be selected once by either team during a series.
The tournament kicks off with Stage 1, also known as the Group Stage, and features a single-round robin format and best-of-three (Bo3) matches. From there, only the top four teams advance to Stage 2 — the Knockout Stage — where they must face off under a single-elimination format in best-of-five (Bo5) matches.
In addition to securing a spot in the 2025 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI 2025) Bracket Stage, the 2025 First Stand event also features a $1,000,000 USD prize pool. Which team will claim the lion's share of it?
