This League of Legends team qualified for the First Stand 2025 event from LCP Split 1. Everything about them is here.

Fundamental changes in the structure of the entire regional league and big roster adjustments have formed the LoL esports team CTBC Flying Oyster in its current version.

At the end of the previous competitive season, the LoL Championship Pacific (LCP) was created from three other regional series: the Pacific, Vietnamese, and Japanese series. Now, teams from all three regions compete in a single league, fighting for international qualification.

CTBC Flying Oyster, or CFO, is a Taiwanese organization. Three players are new, and CFO managed to achieve a big regional victory.

Let's get to know CTBC Flying Oyster and each of its players better.

CTBC Flying Oyster: A LoL esports team from Taiwan

The parent organization of this League of Legends team is the Taiwanese company CTBC. It also owns baseball and basketball teams.

CTBC Flying Oyster was formed in 2022, and the team competed within the Pacific Championship Series (PCS). The roster wasn’t a stable thing for CFO, but with a variety of changes, Flying Oyster managed to reach the following achievements.

  • Regional victories at PCS Summer 2022 and PCS Spring 2024.
  • 11th–14th in the highest placement for LoL CFO at the Worlds so far. This was in 2022.

In the PCS, CTBC Flying Oyster didn't drop lower than 4th place — except for one time. The organization has a strong attitude for supporting League of Legends players and helping them reach the top. Victory at the LCP Split 1 2025 is a nice proof of this. CFO get to play at the First Stand 2025 thanks to it.

CTBC Flying Oyster roster

The current roster of League of Legends CFO was formed in December 2024. Three new players joined the team and three remained in it. Yes, it’s true — CTBC Flying Oyster officially lists six players.

The team also has DPower as a substitute support player.

Rest

Hsu "Rest" Shih-chieh has been playing for CTBC Flying Oyster since the organization’s formation in January 2022. He was the main Top-laner during the LCP Split 1 2025 tournament, and Rest played in the grand final match against Talon. CFO qualified for the First Stand from that match.

Before joining CTBC Flying Oyster, Rest played for J Team.

Rest’s competitive nickname comes from his earlier alias, Revenge Ghost — taking the first two and last two letters. Fans sometimes call him "TheRest" thanks to his standout performances and impressive results with Aatrox.

In PCS Summer 2020, Rest was the MVP.

Driver

Shen "Driver" Tsung-hua joined CFO in May 2024. Before that, he played for Beyond Gaming, Impunity, and J Team. Back in his J Team years, Driver also was teammates with Rest.

At the start of his professional esports career, Driver won ECS Summer 2019, which is a B-tier event.

JunJia

Yu "JunJia" Chun-chia is one of the fresh additions to the LoL CFO roster. His previous team was PSG Talon. It is quite notable that in the grand final of LCP Split 1 2025, JunJia played against his former organization.

Before 2023, JunJia competed in the Chinese league. With EDward Gaming, he won LPL Summer 2021. As part of PSG Talon, JunJia reached the top 8 at the LoL MSI 2024.

His nickname is derived from his real name using Pinyin — Chun-chia.

hongQ

Tsai "hongQ" Ming-hong is a young phenomenon of the competitive League of Legends scene. He started playing in the big scene in 2023 with the team Nate9527. After a short period in CFO Academy, he joined the main roster of CTBC Flying Oyster, and now hongQ is ready to shine at the First Stand 2025.

At LCP Split 1 2025, hongQ was named Rookie of the Split. The player was great during his CFO Academy time as well. For instance, he delivered a pentakill on Azir in a match against TNU Eagle.

Doggo

Chiu "Doggo" Tzu-chuan has an impressive competitive history in League of Legends. Before joining CTBC Flying Oyster, he played in LPL teams, including BLG. He returned to LCP in late 2024 after becoming a bot-laner for CFO.

The player’s previous nickname was Doge. His Chinese nickname translates to "Little Shiba," referring to the Shiba Inu, a Japanese hunting dog.

Hunting skills helped Doggo finish 2nd at the 2022 Asian Games. His other top placements include finishing 2nd at PCS Spring and Summer 2021 with Beyond Gaming. Winning LCP Split 1 and qualifying for the First Stand 2025 with CFO feels like a decent achievement for the player.

Kaiwing

Ling "Kaiwing" Kai-wing was part of two other big LoL esports teams in the Pacific region: PSG Talon and Frank Esports. He joined CTBC Flying Oyster in December 2024.

With PSG Talon, Kaiwing finished 9th-12th at two League of Legends World Championships in 2020 and 2021. The team was 5th at the MSI 2022 and 3rd-4th at the MSI 2021 — which is pretty impressive. With Frank Esports, Kaiwing was in the top 4 throughout the 2023 and 2024 seasons, including 2nd place at PCS Spring 2023.

His nickname is actually his real name.

Chawy: The head coach of CTBC Flying Oyster

CFO is heading to the First Stand 2025 largely thanks to the guidance of coach Wong “Chawy” Xing Lei, who brings valuable experience as a former mid-laner and commentator. Chawy joined CTBC Flying Oyster in December 2024.
