Five-star Quantum character Sparkle drops in Honkai Star Rail in Version 2.0. “The Masked Fool” can restore Skill Points and boosts CRIT DMG.
Five-star Quantum character Sparkle will be arriving in Honkai Star Rail version 2.0 as one of two main characters alongside Black Swan. She was first unveiled at the Game Awards 2023, where developer MiHoYo also won Best Mobile Game of the Year for Honkai Star Rail. Sparkle aka "The Masked Fool" arrives as part of a brand new zone called Penacony, which will be a focus of version 2.0 to 2.2. Here's a look at her abilities, traces and eidolons.
When will Sparkle be released?
Five-star character Sparkle will be released during Phase 2 of Honkai Star Rail version 2.0 on February 29, 2024. The Sparkle banner will run from February 29 until March 26, 2024.
Sparkle Kit in Honkai Star Rail
Sparkle's abilities/kit were confirmed in the Honkai Star Rail Version 2.0 "If One Dreams at Midnight" Special Program on January 26.
Sparkle's confirmed abilities:
- Basic Attack - Monodrama: Inflicts Quantum DMG equal to a % of Sparkle's ATK to a single enemy.
- Skill - Dreamdiver: Increases a single ally's CRIT DMG and Advances their action
- Sparkle's Ultimate - The Hero with a Thousand Faces: Immediately restores 4 Skill Points for the team and grants allies "Cipher" status. Allies with Cipher deal additional DMG by synergising with Sparkle's talent.
- Sparkle's Talent - Red Herring: Increases the Max Skill Points of all team members by 2. Every time a Skill Point is consumed the character's DMG is increased by 7.5% for 2 turns. (Can stack up to 3 times)
- Technique - Unreliable Narrator: Grants allies stealth for 20 seconds. Characters are undetectable by enemies. Entering battle in Stealth recovers Skill Point(s) for the team.
Sparkle Traces in Honkai Star Rail
Sparkle's Character Ascension Traces primarily focus on CRIT DMG increases and HP boosts. The Traces will require Past Evils of the Borehole Planet which you can farm from the Echo of War (Seclusion Zone).
