Here are all of the Yunli Ascension and Trace materials required to help her reach her highest potential.

Here are all of the Ascension and Trace materials you need to raise Yunli in Honkai Star Rail. You can begin pre-farming a lot of these materials right now, too!

Yunli is a limited-time 5-star Physical Destruction character, the second character in this archetype following Clara. She's yet to appear in the game, but her Xianzhou roots align with the Astral Express' return to the fleet after concluding their travels in Penacony.

IPC Work Permit location

IPC Work Permit is the Yunli Ascension material that you really need to farm for. It's found in the Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Duty node in Clock Studios Theme Park, Dreamscape, Penacony. This is the same material used by Robin and Boothill.

To unlock this area you must have finished the Trailblaze Mission "Why do the Heathens Rage?"

Challenging the Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Duty is the main way you can acquire the Yunli Ascension material IPC Work Permit. If you do not have the area unlocked, you have two choices:

  1. Use the Omni-Synthesizer - Material Exchange
  2. Wait until Yunli's banner, then use the "Temporary Early Access" function to challenge the node.

Using the Omni-Synthesizer has a limit of 20 exchanges of IPC Work Permit per week. It requires two of a different Ascension material for one IPC Work Permit.
