Here are all of the Ascension and Trace materials you need to farm to raise Sunday in Honkai Star Rail. You can pre-farm all of his materials now!
Sunday will arrive as a playable character on Honkai Star Rail version 2.7, scheduled for December 3, 2024.
He is a 5-star Imaginary Harmony character who has single-target buffs and can advance his ally's action. Check out the details of his kit here.

These are all of the materials that Sunday needs for his Ascension. The Chordal Mirage can be farmed from the Stagnant Shadow: Penacony Grand Theater node
If you have not unlocked the location where the Chordal Mirage can be farmed, it can accessed via the Interastral Peace Guide using the "Temporary Early Access" feature. Note that this feature will only be available while Sunday's banner is ongoing.

The Chordal Mirage is the only Sunday Ascension Material you really need to farm. Head to the Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Timbre at Grand Penacony Theater to farm it.
Challenging the Stagnant Shadow is the main way players can acquire the Sunday Ascension Material Chordal Mirage. You have two alternative choices to get the material:
- Use the Omni-Synthesizer - Material Exchange
- Wait until Sunday's banner, then use the “Temporary Early Access” function to challenge the node.
Using the Omni Synthesizer has a limit of 20 exchanges for the Chordal Mirage per week. It requires two of a different Ascension material for one Chordal Mirage.

The Firmament Note, Celestial Section, and Heavenly Melody materials can be farmed from the Crimson Calyx: Bud of Harmony in the Dreamscape in Penacony.
The Lost Echo of the Shared Wish can be acquired from the Echo of War: Salutations of Ashen Dreams in Penacony Grand Theater. Note that you can only challenge this a maximum of three times a week.
