Honkai: Star Rail loading screen error, how to solve

The just-released Honkai: Star Rail offers a new experience in the Hoyoverse but as it goes with newly launched games, there are bound to be some bugs and errors. One of them is the 'stuck on loading screen' bug in Honkai: Star Rail which happens after the login session. But there's a quick solution.

The game's loading screen might freeze after you have entered your username and password to log in to the game. Following that step, your screen is supposed to show a Loading screen WITH a bar at the bottom, and if it does, great!

However, there's a possibility that you stumble upon this animated loading screen without a Loading bar. Do not wait for anything to appear because it is basically stuck (we learned it the hard way).

This issue can easily be solved by restarting the game. Firstly, force shut down the Honkai: Star Rail application through Task Manager. You can find Task Manager on the Windows search bar or simply use the Ctrl + Shift + Esc shortcut to open it.

Locate Honkai: Star Rail under the Apps list and right-click it. You'll find the "End task" option that'll force shut down the game.

Once the game shuts down, you can proceed to launch Honkai: Star Relic once again. Login as per usual and the Loading screen will show you a bar that wasn't there before! The bar reads "Downloading resources.." and should load pretty quickly.

Once the bar finishes loading, the Astral Express (train on the screen) will speed up and prepare to bring you to the Honkai: Star Rail universe. You can press the 'Click to Start' button at the bottom of the screen to begin playing.

This solution has been tested and should work. If you are still facing the same issue, you likely have to reinstall the entire application.
