What is the Forgotten Hall in Honkai: Star Rail?
The Forgotten Hall is a game mode in Honkai: Star Rail where you have to defeat a series of increasingly difficult enemies, but you must do so in a certain number of turns. It is the most difficult game mode in Honkai: Star Rail, and as a result offers the best rewards.
In terms of its function, its very similar to the Spiral Abyss in MiHoYo's other title Genshin Impact.
Where is the Forgotten Hall in Honkai: Star Rail?
The Forgotten Hall is accessible via the Parlor Car on the Astral Express. You will see a broken mirror propped against the wall in the south of the Parlor Car. Approach it and the Messenger will appear. Talk to the Messenger and select "Enter the Forgotten Realm".
Warning: The broken mirror will only appear if you reached Trailblaze level 21 and have completed the Fleeting Lights quest (more info below).
How to unlock the Forgotten Hall in Honkai: Star Rail?
Step 1: Reach Trailblaze Level 21
Step 2: Respond to Pom-Pom's phone message about a "strange disturbance"
Step 3: Travel to the Astral Express to talk to Pom-Pom to start the Fleeting Lights quest
Step 4: Follow Pom-Pom's instructions and then interact with the broken mirror in the Parlor Car
Step 5: Complete the Fleeting Lights quest to permanently unlock the Forgotten Hall
How many stages are there in the Forgotten Hall?
The Forgotten Hall is divided into two parts, Memory and Memory of Chaos.
Memory Stages: 15 stages with rewards for every 3 stars awarded. Later stages required two teams of up to 4 characters.
Memory of Chaos: 10 stages which are more challenging. The Memory of Chaos stages will reset over time, allowing players to vanquish them again and receive more rewards.

After completing a Memory stage in the Forgotten Hall you are awarded between 0 to 3 stars based on how many objectives you met.

Memory Stages 1-5 objectives

For each objective met you will receive 1-star. You will find it fairly easy to win in 14 cycle(s) for the first five memory stages, but winning in 10 cycle(s) will require some careful consideration of your composition and relics.

- Win with at least 12 cycle(s) left
- No more than 1 down character(s)

Your Equilibrium Level will not affect the difficulty of the Forgotten Hall stages so don't be afraid to simply revisit after you've levelled up your characters more.
For every 3 stars award you will receive:
- 200 Stellar Jade
- 20,000 Credits
Memory Stage Rewards in the Forgotten Hall
On top of receiving Stellar Jade and Credits for every 3 stars you collect, you will also receive rewards for completing a Memory stage with a 3-star rating. The rewards include Lucent Afterglow, which can be exchanged for Light Cones by talking to the Messenger in the Parlor Car.
The Honkai: Star Rail Forgotten Hall is a true test of skill but don't expect it to be easy. If you're stuck, we recommend playing the Cocolia boss battle music on loop to get you in the mood.

The Forgotten Hall is currently the best way in Honkai: Star Rail to collect Stellar Jades. No other game mode offers such big rewards, making it the ultimate challenge.
