Castorice is headed to Honkai Star Rail as a playable character! Here are all of the Castorice Ascension and Trace materials, including those you can begin pre-farming now!

Castorice Ascension Materials
 Ethereal Omen  Echoing Wail Eternal Lament Darkveil Moonlight |
The Etheral Omen, Echoing Wail, and Eternal Lament materials drop from Black Tide creatures. They can be found in certain Amphoreus areas and nodes. You shouldn't have to go out of your way to farm them, but if you do, simply walk around the various enemy-infested areas.
Darkveil Moonlight is a Quantum Ascension material you can farm from a Stagnant Shadow node in Amphoreus.

Where to farm Darkveil Moonlight
The Darkveil Moonlight is the material you actually have to farm. You can farm this in the Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Gelidmoon node in "Murmuring Woods" Grove of Epiphany in Amphoreus.
During Castorice's banner, the Temporary Early Access feature will activate to allow you to farm the material even if you do not have the area unlocked by then.
Alternatively, you can use the Omni-Synthesizer - Materials Exchange to acquire this material.
Using the Omni Synthesizer has a limit of 20 exchanges for the Darkveil Moonlight per week. It requires two of a different Ascension material for one Darkveil Moonlight.

The Seed of Thought, Mana Seedling, and Alayawah materials for Castorice can be farmed from the Remembrance Calyx node in Strife Ruins, Castrum Kremnos, Amphoreus.
Get the Auspice Sliver material through the Echo of War: Inner Beast's Battlefield in the Skysplitter on Xianzhou Luofu. You can challenge her a maximum of thrice a week, shared with other Echo of War nodes.
