Ranked isn’t available at the launch of Highguard, but it’s coming soon.

Highguard has finally been released after over a month of mystery and intrigue. The first-person, PvP raid shooter features a unique blend of several different games, and the core gameplay feels fluid and engaging. How players react to the new gameplay remains to be seen, but there's no shortage of content at launch. One key element missing in Highguard at the moment, though, is a Ranked playlist.

Below, you can see everything we currently know about Ranked in Highguard and when you can expect it to be released.

Ranked release date in Highguard

At the time of writing, we have no official launch date for the Ranked playlist. If you go into the "Headwell" tab at the main menu in Highguard, you'll see a section for Ranked has already been cleared, but the message underneath it just says "coming soon."

While we have no confirmed date for Ranked, we do know the developers already have plans to bring it to Highguard in the near future. According to the year one roadmap for Highguard, a Ranked mode is set to arrive sometime in February.

We don't know exactly when in February, but the roadmap says Ranked is included in the "part one" section of Episode 2, which likely means it's coming in the first half of the month rather than the second half. So, in theory, we only have to wait two-three weeks for Ranked to be released.

Of course, with Highguard being a new game, delays with content are inevitable, so Ranked could still arrive later than the developers currently have planned. However, if all goes right, Ranked will be available within the next month.
