Highguard is now live. However, before you charge into battle, you should make sure that your system can run the game in the first place. Here's everything you need to know about the Highguard system requirements.

At the minimum, PC players need Windows 10 (64-bit), an Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen R5 1600, 8 GB of RAM, and a Nvidia GTX 1060 or AMD RX 580 graphics card to run Highguard. The game also requires DirectX 12, a broadband internet connection, and 25 GB of available storage.

As for the recommended specifications, Highguard players should have Windows 11, an Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 12 GB of RAM, and either an Nvidia RTX 2080 or AMD RX 6650 XT graphics card. Additionally, just like its minimum specifications, the game requires DirectX 12, a broadband internet connection, and 25 GB of available storage.

How to download Highguard

Highguard is playable on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Folks on PC can download the game via its dedicated Steam page. They must also agree to a third-party EULA before playing the game. The system uses boot protection as well, which requires Secure Boot and TPM 2.0.

Additionally, according to Wildlight Entertainment, Highguard uses kernel-level anti-cheat. This includes Easy Anti-Cheat and requires manual removal if players wish to uninstall the game.
