Wacky Waxy Winter's Veil Tavern Brawl

In this Tavern Brawl, you must create your own deck before duking it out against an opponent. Four Large Waxy Gift minions appear on both sides of the board after you enter the game and go through the mulligan phase.

One goal of Hearthstone's Wacky Waxy Winter's Veil Tavern Brawl is to eliminate these Large Waxy Gift minions on your opponent's side of the board. Doing this grants you a random legendary minion that costs less mana. The example below shows how King Togwaggle now requires 5 mana instead of 8 mana.

Hearthstone Wacky Waxy Winter's Veil Tavern Brawl strategy

In this Tavern Brawl, you can deny your opponent some legendary minions. If you're playing an Evolve Shaman deck, for example, you can transform your minions into different ones. Additionally, since more Large Waxy Gifts drop down for everyone on turn 7, you can deny your opponent these presents by having board presence.

Don't forget to take advantage of the different cards you can play during this Tavern Brawl. Sea Giant, for example, costs less mana for each other minion on the board.

Meanwhile, the Schooling spell adds three 1/1 Piranha Swarmers to your hand. Piranha Swarmers gain an attack buff after you summon another Piranha Swarmer. These can clear the board, open Large Waxy Gifts, be used alongside Bloodlust, and more. The screenshot below shows the Mage opponent casting Schooling because we played King Togwaggle to create some chaos.
