Our beautiful Lan Yan is almost coming to Genshin Impact alongside the second phase of version 5.3. But who is Lan Yan and how is her ability kit? Let's dive into it.

Lan Yan is a handicraft who has loved to restore old antiques since she was very young. She is always searched by many clients who only trust her hands to restore their broken objects. No request is ever ignored!

From the Chenyu Vale, in Liyue, Lan Yan loves to walk in the mountains whether is "playing by the stream, gathering vines for her craft, frolicking with small animals, or sitting in the forks of tree branches weaving," as we can read from her biography.

Lan Yan is a 4-star anemo character who uses a catalyst. She will be the first anemo shielder in the game, making her arrival more anticipated by the players. Wields her Feathermoon Rings to perform up to four attacks, dealing anemo damage.

Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to throw out a Feathermoon Ring, dealing anemo damage.

Gathers the power of Anemo and plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in her path. Deals AoE anemo damage upon impact with the ground.

Lan Yan gains a shield and charges forward. Upon making contact with the target, she leaps backward into the air. During this time, she can throw her weapon in mid-air to attack enemies. Holding the Elemental Skill will cause it to behave differently. Holding the skill, you can adjust the dash direction.

When Lan Yan uses her Elemental Burst, she creates an array that pulls opponents in and deals damage multiple times.

Four Sealing Divination Blades

After unlocking her Passive Talent, Lan Yan's Shield will undergo elemental absorption based on the type of element she comes into contact with when she charges forward. The weapon she throws will also deal with the corresponding type of elemental damage.

Skyfeather Evil-Subduing Charm

The Elemental Skill Swallow-Wisp Pinion Dance and the Elemental Burst Lustrous Moonrise deal increased damage equal to 309% and 774% of Lan Yan's Elemental Mastery respectively.

Thought and Intent, Like Silken Scent

When Lan Yan is at the party, your characters will not startle Crystalflies and certain other animals when getting near them.

"As One Might Stride Betwixt the Clouds"

After triggering the Elemental Conversion from the Passive Talent "Four Sealing Divination Charms," this instance of Lan Yan's Elemental Skill Swallow-Wisp Pinion Dance will produce another Feathermoon Ring when they are thrown at opponents. You must first unlock the Passive Talent "Four Sealing Divination Charms."

"Dance Vestments Billow Like Rainbow Jade"

While the Phoenix-Wisp Shield is active when your active party member's Normal Attacks deal DMG, 40% of the Shield's DMG absorption will be restored, up to its original maximum absorption. This effect can occur once every 2s.

"On White Wings Pierce Through Cloud and Fog"

Increases the Level of Swallow-Wisp Pinion Dance by 3. The maximum upgrade level is 15.

"With Drakefalcon's Blood-Pearls Adorned"

After Lan Yan uses her Elemental Burst Lustrous Moonrise, the Elemental Mastery of all nearby party members increases by 60 for 12s.

"Having Met You, My Heart is Gladdened"

Increases the Level of Lustrous Moonrise by 3. The maximum upgrade level is 15.

"Let Us Away on Slyphic Wing, the Silvered Ornaments to Ring"

Swallow-Wisp Pinion Dance gains 1 additional charge.
