In a five-minute trailer, Genshin Impact introduces all the upcoming characters from the Nod-Krai region.
The hype is real! Genshin Impact has released the new Song of the Welkin Moon teaser ahead of the upcoming region launch. There are some new characters as well as familiar faces, so let's take a look at all the characters revealed in the Nod-Krai region trailer.
Note: This guide contains some unconfirmed information based on current leaks and speculation. Please take it with a grain of salt until officially confirmed by HoYoverse.
Nicole Reeyn
Also known as "N," Nicole Reeyn first appeared as an NPC at the end of the Archon Quest "As Though Morning Dew" in Interlude Chapter: Act III - Inversion of Genesis. However, at the time, she was not identified. She is a member of the Hexenzirkel, an organization of powerful witches and mages who conduct Irminsul explorations and gather around for "formal tea parties." This organization was founded by Alice, another character who was revealed in the trailer.
So far, there is not much information about her possible vision and release date. On July 22, Nicole Reeyn's English voice actress changed. Amber Connor was replaced by someone who is still unknown to the public.
During the teaser, we saw more details on Nicole's design, characterized by her shining wings and powerful presence. We also know that Nicole is physically mute, as she described herself as "suffocated by [her] inability to speak."

Aino
Aino is from the Clink-Clank Krumkake Craftshop, a location in Nod-Krain, and is the designer of Ineffa. We still don't know much about her, but she is possibly one of the characters that will be released during Version 6.0. According to leaks, Aino will be a four-star Hydro claymore user. However, keep in mind that this information is yet to be confirmed.
Varka
Varka left the fans speechless. If you don't know him, Varka is the current Grand Master and Knight of Boreas of the Knights of Favonius. He departed for an expedition, leaving Jean as the Acting Grand Master in his absence.
According to other characters, Varka is one of the strongest people in Mondstadt. Varka is currently headed to Nod-Krai to investigate after discovering new information during his expedition.
He will be an Anemo character since the trailer showed his elemental vision accessory. In the trailer, he’s seen wielding a large claymore, strongly indicating this will be his weapon of choice. His imposing presence and the way he handles the claymore reflect a fierce, battle-hardened warrior, showcasing his determination and readiness for combat.

Jahoda
Jahoda makes her debut in the “Song of the Welkin Moon” trailer, appearing as a playful and mysterious new character. While little is known about her so far, her design, featuring a black outfit that contrasts sharply with her blonde hair and yellow eyes, immediately stands out. In the trailer, she briefly appears alongside Ineffa and another Nod-Krai character, Durin.
Durin
Durin was a shadow dragon created by the infamous alchemist Rhinedottir. During the cataclysm, he was defeated by Dvalin, and his corpse plummeted onto the mountain of Vindagnyr. However, Durin’s toxic blood severely poisoned Dvalin, eventually corrupting him into the being now known as Stormterror. The mountain, tainted by Durin’s remains, was later renamed Dragonspine, becoming one of Teyvat’s most treacherous regions.
Albedo played a key role in giving Durin a human form. Using the heart of a smaller, less corrupted fragment of Durin, he initiated a transformation that prevented the dragon’s full resurrection. The process involved rare materials sourced from the Hexenzirkel and served as a means to contain Durin’s destructive potential while preserving a part of his essence in a more stable, human-like form.
The trailer offers a detailed look at Durin’s human form. His dragon-like horns are a standout feature, clearly linking him to his original form. He wears a striking black and pink outfit that complements his purple-tinted hair, creating a bold and mysterious aesthetic. He appears lost in his thoughts.

Sandrone
Sandrone, also known by her codename "Marionette," is the Seventh of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. If you don't remember the organization, some popular characters like Tartaglia, La Signora, Scaramouche, Arlecchino, and Il Capitano are part of it. The Eleven Harbingers are the most powerful and highest-ranking members of the Fatui. They are very wealthy and politically influential members of the Snezhnayan society.
According to Tartaglia, Sandrone is known for having a “terrible personality.” Unlike the other Fatui Harbingers, she was the only one who did not close her eyes in respect during Signora’s funeral, highlighting her cold and indifferent demeanor. Recent leaks suggest that Sandrone is not expected to be a playable character soon.
In the trailer, Sandrone is seen alongside what appears to be a Ruin Guard-like companion, sparking renewed interest and speculation within the community.

Lauma
Lauma is a character from Drendo and first appeared in the initial Nod-Krai teaser. Leaks suggest she may be introduced as a new five-star character in version 6.0. Since she is a new character, we don't know much about her aside from her being extremely beautiful.
Nefer
Nefer also appeared for the first time during the "Song of the Welkin Moon" trailer. She showed up alongside Varka, which means they might have a connection that we will know in the future. She described herself as a "great storyteller."
Flins
Flins is one of the male characters from Nod-Krai coming to Genshin Impact. He is also appearing for the first time ever, which means we don't know a thing about him. However, in the trailer, he shows up as someone very powerful.
Columbina
Everyone was waiting for her, and Columbina finally arrived. Also known as Moon Maiden, our beautiful girl is one of the most powerful Harbingers. Columbina is purported to be in Nod-Krai, with the highest commands of the "Palestar Edict" being sent out in order to locate her regardless of the cost. She is one of the most anticipated characters of the new region.
Alice
Finally, we get to meet Alice, the Hexenzirkel's founder. She is also Klee's mom. Alice never showed up personally, but she was mentioned multiple times in-game through letters, phonograph records, invites, and other things. Alice is an adventurer who belongs to a long-lived race and is at least 500 years old herself. Her immense magical prowess has led Albedo to call her a "near-omnipotent sorceress."

She is the final character revealed in the long list of characters for the Nod-Krai region. In the trailer, she appears in conversation with both Albedo and Scaramouche, and her design immediately draws comparisons to Klee. From the small animal ornament in her hair to the color palette of her outfit, as well as her eye shape and hairstyle, her resemblance to Klee is striking.
