Skull and Bones is finally on its way after several delays, with a release date in February 2024 finally confirmed by Ubisoft.
Skull and Bones is the spiritual successor to Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. It was originally meant as an expansion to Black Flag, but eventually spun off to be its own title. That saw it take years of development and a few delays before Ubisoft announced when exactly Skull and Bones will come out.
It was at The Game Awards 2023 when an official release date was revealed. And it seems like this one will stick, with no further delays on the schedule. So, get ready to set sail and live the life of a pirate on February 16, 2024.
Skull and Bones release date
Skull and Bones is the first game developed by Ubisoft Singapore. Set in the late 17th Century, you'll be thrown right into the Golden Age of Piracy. Considered a tactical action game, a third-person perspective will take you through plundering and naval warfare.
You are able to customize your pirate ship with a wide variety of options. Flags, a nameplate, fireworks to celebrate, and the colors of the exterior are all up to you as there are many to collect during your time as a pirate.
When Skull and Bones comes out on February 16, 2024, you can take on a single-player campaign or gather some friends to traverse the Indian Ocean. On that day in February, you can become the most notorious pirate the world has ever seen.
