Are you struggling to find mobs that drop Medium Hide? Read this!

At some point in Hytale, you’ll need to find some Medium Hide to craft some items, such as Thorium weapons, armor, and tools. Compared to creatures that drop Light Hide, enemies that yield Medium Hide will not go down without a fight.

In this post, we will provide a complete list of every animal that drops Medium Hide, including which ones are the most efficient to farm.

You can gather a large amount of Medium Hide in a single day by exploring the Desert and Savanna biomes, where multiple creatures drop the material, including Sabertooth Tigers, Hyenas, and Sand Lizards.

Volcano biomes are also good farming spots, but they are recommended only if you are equipped with at least Thorium or Cobalt weapons and armor.

To take down mobs quicker, try to use charged attacks whenever possible, and keep your HP at manageable levels by bringing food.

As long as you stay within the Desert biome, you can expect to collect at least 20 Medium Hide per day, depending on the number of mobs that spawn. If you plan to use Medium Hide for crafting, you will need a Tanning Rack to convert it into Medium Leather.
