How to sign up for the FragPunk Beta Test

FragPunk has gone through one closed testing phase already, and now it has opened sign ups for its Beta Test. If you're interested in participating, just following along as we walk you through the easy steps on how to register.

There are a couple of ways to sign up for the FragPunk Beta Test, depending on your platform. For PC, you can play through Steam. And while the game will be available through the Epic Games Store, it doesn't look like the beta will be.

For console users, you'll be excited to hear that FragPunk is making its way to Xbox. The original test was PC only, but for the FragPunk Beta Test, Xbox users will have access. So, we'll cover both platforms and how you can show them you want to play.

The Steam process is very simple. All you need to do is head to the FragPunk page on Steam, sign in, scroll down, and press "Request Access" to sign up for the beta. If you're chosen, that button will change to "Play" and you'll receive an email telling you that you were selected to participate.

Xbox players will need to download the Xbox Insider Hub app. This is available through both your Xbox console and the Xbox app on PC. Once downloaded, sign in to your Xbox account and go to Previews. Find FragPunk there and press Join, which will register your interest.

Access will not be granted ahead of time, per the FragPunk X account announcing the beta. In the gameplay trailer announcing the beta, they stated it will come in October.

Now, we know exactly when in October. The beta begins on October 10, 2024. So, pay attention to your email or the game's socials for when that date arrives to see if you got access or for other ways to join.
