Delta Force: Hawk Ops has three separate game modes for you to choose from, with each one vastly different from the last.

Delta Force: Hawk Ops isn't your typical tactical shooter. There's no one way to play. You've got a few game modes to choose from, that are vastly different from each other. It truly has something for ever FPS fan. So, let's go over what each game mode is about in Delta Force: Hawk Ops.

Every game mode in Delta Force: Hawk Ops

There are three main game modes you'll find in Delta Force: Hawk Ops. You've got a multiplayer option, an extraction option, and even a campaign. It is a nice mix for fans of all types of first-person shooters and tactical gameplay.

Delta Force: Black Hawk Down was an entry in the franchise, and it mirrored the movie with the subtitle's name. In the campaign, labeled Black Hawk Down, you'll head to Mogadishu in a recreation of the operation in Unreal Engine.

It is a single player experience as you become a member of the Spec Ops Squad. Play through the story on your own to feel the thrills of battle and get the hang of how the controls work, how different weapons operate, and how to traverse this game's environment.

Havoc Warfare

Havoc Warfare is much like Call of Duty's Ground War. And even though that is the name of the mode, there is actually modes within the mode. As of right now, there are two that you can get placed into:

  • A/D Mode: This game mode in Delta Force: Hawk Ops uses a ticket system. Tickets are essentially a team's lives left. The defenders have infinite, but the attackers have a certain amount. If they run out before taking all objectives, it is game over.
  • King of the Hill: This is exactly as you'd expect a King of the Hill game mode to go. Teams fight over a rotating singular point. When you're capturing it, your team scores. Reach the score goal before the area team and victory is yours.

Tactical Turmoil

Are you a fan of Escape from Tarkov? Then you'll love the Tactical Turmoil game mode in Delta Force: Hawk Ops. This is an extraction mode, where you drop in, gather loot, complete objectives, and get out of there with your life.

If you don't make it out alive, your gear is gone and everything you accomplished is erased. You can also lose if you don't extract before time runs out. There are enemy AI and real players trying to take you out and loot your body, so keep your wits about you.

Will new game modes be added to Delta Force: Hawk Ops?

At the time of writing, the game is just in a testing phase. It is not reflective of the full launch. That means other game modes could make their way to Delta Force: Hawk Ops.

We just have to take the wait-and-see approach right now. There will certainly be more Operators, weapons, and maps. But when it comes to modes? Either expect tweaks to the already existing ones over time or a complete slate of new ones whenever the game releases.
